24/05/2009 World Nunchaku Championship, 9 and 10th May in Constantine, Algeria This weekend in Algeria took place the world championships of nunchaku: fighting and artistic in the city of Constantine. The 40 world top fighters from 7 countries (France, Switzerland, Algeria, Lebanon, Thailan, Hungaria and Cambodia) were made an appointment for this annual competition. Once again, the general level increased considerably and we saw magnificent fights. The Swiss and French delegations shone on the podiums, but the future promises, with young hopes such as... Khaled Affara (15y.o) who created the surprise in ending 3rd in demonstration and who pushed aside more than one in fight. 2 styles of fight were proposed: FINCA and ITNA.
